Throughout my life, I've frequently taken vitamins and much needed nutrients, often swayed by advertising gimmicks promising improvement or solutions to perceived problems. Unfortunately, these experiences often left me disappointed and lighter in the wallet.
However, after learning about the impact of food on our bodies and how it supports our overall health, I've come to understand that most people simply need a baseline of vitamins daily or every other day. It's also clear that not all vitamins are created equal, and buying them off the shelf without knowledge of their contents or assurance of what is inside the vitamin, can be a waste of money.
This is where a Nutrient Strategy Session can be valuable. Sometimes, we need an extra boost of specific vitamins to address deficiencies or "fill the potholes" in our body's nutritional needs. Once those gaps are filled, continual supplementation may no longer be necessary.
