This is a single-marker test measuring Vitamin D. It can only be added to the NutrEval® FMV or NutrEval® Plasma tests. This test cannot be ordered for patients under two years of age.
- 25-hydroxyvitamin D
the primary circulating form of vitamin D in the body, created by the liver from dietary or sun-exposed vitamin D. It is the best blood marker to measure overall vitamin D status and deficiency.
